I believe that everyone has the power to design a life they love—a life that feels meaningful, fulfilling, and aligned with who they truly are.
I’ve always been a planner – setting my mind on something and then figuring out the steps to make it happen: high school grades, visiting as many countries as possible, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, buying my first house. But when I was faced with the question of whether my family and I should move to USA for work – I didn’t know what I wanted … so how could I plan? With the help of some well-placed, exploratory questions, a friend coached me to uncover the key issues and thought patterns that were holding me back. I had the space to articulate what was important to me, and to verbalise the grief I felt about what I would be leaving behind. I finally felt free to make the decision and I had clarity on what I needed to deal with before feeling that freedom to go. And now, nearly 6 years later, I can happily say that moving to USA was one of the best decisions for our family!
